Who we are

This website is operated by Prasanna Angara Jathan, trading as Jathans Creatives, ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell anything directly on this site. The only personal data we process is analytics data, and only if you agree to it.

• Analytics data (only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects a randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie, your truncated IP address, the pages you view, the approximate location derived from your IP (country/region level), and technical details such as browser, operating system, device type, language and referring website.
• Your cookie choice. Your accept-or-decline decision is stored locally in your own browser. It never reaches our servers.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider may record standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

• Analytics — consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Nothing is loaded and no cookie is set until you press "Accept analytics". You may withdraw your consent at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
• Server logs — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Keeping the site available and protecting it from abuse.

Cookies

The site sets no analytics or marketing cookies unless you opt in. A full list of the cookies involved, with their purpose and lifetime, is on our cookie policy page, where you can also change your choice at any time.

Who we share it with

Google. If you consent to analytics, Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC process the analytics data as our processor under Google's data processing terms. Google may store and process this data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and Google's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf in order to serve this site.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with anyone else, except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

• Analytics data: retained by Google for up to 14 months from your last visit, after which it is deleted automatically.
• Your cookie choice: stored in your browser for 12 months, after which we ask you again. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser data.
• Server logs: kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
• have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
• have your data erased (Art. 17);
• restrict how we process it (Art. 18);
• receive it in a portable format (Art. 20);
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21); and
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it (Art. 7(3)).

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. As we are established in Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), but you may also complain to the authority where you live. In the EEA you can find yours through the European Data Protection Board; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes to analytics will result in your consent being requested again.
